3 days until Christmas! I can’t wait. For the day itself, but also for the break that comes afterwards. I haven’t really taken much time off work, since my office is at home it’s way too easy to do a bit here (all the time.) So, I am going to try and be intentional with my time off and not pick up the laptop. This will be my last substack for the year and I thought I would do a bit of a round up of some of my fave recipes incase you’re looking for some inspiration on what to make for the holiday!
Sourdough Gingerbread Cookies
These sourdough gingerbread cookies are full of warming spices. They’re slightly soft in the middle and topped with a sweet glaze.
Mini Pavlovas with Lemon Curd
Mini pavlovas with lemon curd and macerated strawberries. They’re a great make-ahead dessert!

Gingerbread Espresso Martini
This gingerbread espresso martini blends espresso, vodka, and homemade gingerbread syrup. A perfect, cozy holiday drink.
Christmas Snowball Cocktail
Celebrate the festive season with a classic Christmas snowball cocktail.

Gingerbread Doughnuts
These gingerbread doughnuts use a soft, enriched brioche dough and are filled with a creamy gingerbread custard. You’ll need a little bit of time to prepare them, but all good things take time!
Peach Cobbler with Canned Peaches
This peach cobbler with canned peaches is delicious and easy to make, especially using canned peaches, so if peaches aren’t in season where you are, this recipe is for you! They’re sweet and juicy, topped with tender shortcake.

Happy holidays, and see you next year!
